Fusagasugá Embraces Sports and Style: Bogotá Chamber of Commerce Officially Launches the 2025 Andean Half Marathon.

In an event that blended athletic energy with fashion elegance, the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce (CCB) officially unveiled the 2025 Andean Half Marathon, while also presenting the performance summary of Colombian designers featured at New York Fashion Week. The Chamber’s president emphasized the positive impact of both initiatives in positioning Colombia as a global reference in creativity, entrepreneurship, and regional development.

2025 Andean Half Marathon: Sports, Economy, and Tourism in Motion

Organized by the CCB in partnership with the Government of Cundinamarca, the Andean Half Marathon will take place on November 30, 2025, in Fusagasugá, a town known as Colombia’s “Garden City.” This sporting event aims to boost the sports cluster, stimulate the local economy, and promote healthy lifestyles across the Sumapaz region.

 Fusagasugá as a Hub for Sports Tourism

With over 170,000 residents, 7,612 active businesses, and 292 registered tourism providers, Fusagasugá is emerging as a strategic destination for sports

tourism. The 2025 edition follows the success of the 2024 Zipaquirá-Cogua Marathon, which achieved 98% hotel occupancy, created 800 direct jobs, and increased local sales by 20%.
