Elon Musk Retracts: "I Went Too Far" in Criticizing Trump
Washington, USA – In an unexpected turn of events, tech mogul Elon Musk has expressed regret over some of his recent posts on social media platform X, where he harshly criticized former president Donald Trump.
"I regret some of my posts about President @realDonaldTrump last week. They went too far," Musk wrote on his official X account. His statement comes after a week of intense exchanges between the two, including accusations and personal attacks.
The dispute escalated when Musk suggested that Trump had connections to Jeffrey Epstein, the financier accused of sex crimes. Additionally, Musk had posted messages calling for Trump's removal as U.S. president, which he later deleted.
The conflict has stirred uncertainty in political and economic circles, given Musk's previous role as a major supporter and donor of Trump's presidential campaign. However, after Trump's departure from office, their relationship rapidly deteriorated.
For his part, Trump has dismissed any possibility of reconciliation. In a recent interview, the former president called Musk someone who "has lost his mind" and stated he has no intention of speaking with him.
This clash could have significant repercussions for both leaders' political and business futures. While Musk appears to be attempting to defuse the tension, Trump seems determined to stand his ground.
